Our West Coast US-based client provides cloud-based construction software to clients across the globe. With their award-winning suite of project management tools, hundreds of thousands of users have a bunch of benefits. Thus, they manage all types of construction projects including industrial plants, office buildings, apartment complexes, university facilities, retail centers, and more.

The primary objective is to transition manual testing debt into a high-efficiency automation suite. We are implementing an AI-powered automation framework designed to generate comprehensive manual test cases and leverage the same AI-driven setup to script automation for individual tools.

IF YOU ARE

Strong in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principlesProficient in JavaScript/TypeScriptConfident with Cypress and Playwright for test automationKnowledgeable about the Page Object Pattern and its implementationExperienced with CI/CD principles and integrating automated tests into existing CI jobsSkilled in using Git for version controlAdept with AI agents, roles, and prompt engineeringFamiliar with how AI chat systems function (nice-to-have knowledge)Comfortable working with CircleCI for continuous integration (would be a plus)

Design test automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress, automate testing processes, and set up executions of automated tests in CI, including pre- and post-conditionsIdentify, document, and track defects with precise steps to reproduceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and provide input on software functionalitiesPerform basic security, load, and stress testing to ensure application robustnessCommunicate effectively with team members, asking questions as necessary to clarify tasks and objectivesPrepare detailed test reports, including test results and defect status, to provide insights into testing activities and software quality
