ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Middle/Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React.js), you will play a key role in shaping a beta-stage enterprise platform in the purchasing and supply chain domain, helping it mature into a scalable, production-ready solution. This role matters because your work directly impacts system reliability, performance, and customer readiness, influencing how complex decisions are made across the product. You’ll work end to end in a modern AWS-based environment with a distributed team across the US and Europe, gaining real ownership and visibility over the product lifecycle. It’s a strong opportunity for engineers who value autonomy, fast execution, and meaningful technical growth in a collaborative, international setup.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the implementation and improvement of end-to-end features across frontend and backend for a complex enterprise decision-making platform
- Translate UX/UI designs and wireframes into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
- Design and develop web applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks, React preferred
- Contribute to backend services using Java and Spring Boot, supporting reliable and scalable system behavior
- Design and consume RESTful APIs to enable frontend functionality and internal integrations
- Maintain and extend existing components with a strong focus on performance, usability, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with engineers across frontend, backend, and platform teams to deliver complete solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI, integration, and performance issues across the system
- Contribute to improving coding standards, practices, and processes within the team
- Document key technical decisions and implemented components
- Participate in code reviews and support other engineers through feedback and collaboration
- Follow up on new technologies and assess pragmatic ways to adopt them in the product
MUST HAVES
- Strong full stack engineering background with 5+ years of experience building enterprise web applications, with solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and core software engineering principles
- Strong professional experience developing frontend applications using modern technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, React, Redux, and Webpack, including building responsive, cross-platform interfaces and integrating UX/UI designs into production-ready solutions
- 3+ years of professional Java development with strong OOP proficiency, experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate, and a solid background designing and consuming RESTful APIs within reliable backend systems
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including designing efficient data models, writing performant queries, and exposure to NoSQL technologies such as Redis
- Experience working with cloud-based environments such as AWS, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling, containerized systems using Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes, along with strong proficiency in Git and modern version-control workflows
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, effective time management, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with Vue.js and or Angular.js
- Experience building cross-platform responsive web applications
- Experience with Docker and or Kubernetes beyond basic exposure
- Prior experience with SCRUM or Agile methodologies
- Experience with purchasing, supply chain, or ERP systems
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring tools, and security best practices
- Experience tuning relational database performance
