Because accessing the open web reliably and at scale is still hard and most teams shouldn’t have to reinvent this infrastructure themselves. Our mission is to remove friction from web data access, so teams can focus on insights, products, and innovation instead of fighting infrastructure fires.

This role exists to own and evolve a hybrid infrastructure, not just maintain it. We’re looking for someone who can help shape how systems are built, scaled, and operated going forward.

Who are we looking for?

A Senior DevOps Engineer who:

Is comfortable owning infrastructure end-to-end Has real experience with on-prem or hybrid environments Enjoys building systems from scratch and improving them over time Thinks in trade-offs, not dogma Thrives in startup-style environments with real accountability.

What professional skills are important to us?

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure roles
• Hands-on experience with on-prem / hybrid distributed systems
• Strong Linux system administration
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred): scaling, resiliency, cost optimization
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Automation tools such as Ansible CI/CD pipeline design and ownership
• Kubernetes setup and management
• PostgreSQL at scale Open-source observability tooling
• Solid understanding of security best practices in hybrid environments
• Independent, proactive mindset

Nice to have (not required):

• Proxy network experience
• ClickHouse
• OpenTelemetry-based observability
• Open-source contributions or technical writing

What will you do on the project?

• Own and develop a hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud)
• Design scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions
• Build and improve CI/CD workflows for hybrid environments
• Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system health
• Work closely with engineers and product stakeholders
• Maintain clear infrastructure documentation
