We are an API Management and System Integrations Practice, focused on designing and developing next-generation hybrid cloud platform solutions and implementing them across multiple clients and engineering teams. We are a team dedicated to building high-quality SDKs and cloud integrations that sit on top of our AWS-based platform. We take ownership of key technical decisions, drive API strategy, and focus on delivering an exceptional developer experience.

Together with our client, we will embark on a large-scale, multi-year modernization initiative to transform a legacy monolithic PHP application into a modern, microservice-oriented architecture hosted on AWS. We will work on decoupling business domains, architecting, implementing, and maintaining new microservices using Symfony/Doctrine or similar frameworks.

IF YOU ARE

A back-end developer with 3+ years of PHP experience (Symfony preferred)Strong in microservice architecture and API-first designExperienced in deploying and operating apps on AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent) for containerized deploymentsHands-on with CI/CD pipelines (, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline)Practiced in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation)Experienced with third-party API integrations, including rate limiting and robust error handlingSolid on software design patterns, Git, and code quality best practices.AWS certified (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect)Experienced with Doctrine ORM, Symfony 6, or similar frameworksKnowledgeable about serverless patterns using AWS Lambda and API GatewayFamiliar with event-driven architecture and queues/streams (SNS/SQS, Kafka)Exposed to observability tools, ideally New Relic (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK also relevant)Well-versed in cloud security for microservices (IAM, least privilege, encryption)Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client-side

Have a strong presence in decoupling the existing PHP monolith into domain-driven microservices and APIsDesign, develop, and maintain back-end services using Symfony (or equivalent MVC frameworks) and Doctrine ORMArchitect and implement RESTful APIs with consistent documentation, testing, and versioningBuild and consume third-party APIs while ensuring performance, scalability, and security best practicesCollaborate closely with DevOps/Infrastructure to design cloud-native solutions on AWS (, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, API Gateway)Containerize applications with Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes/ECSImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deploymentsLeverage Infrastructure-as-Code tools to ensure reproducible, maintainable environmentsContribute to architectural design discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional planningWork within an Agile Scrum framework - participating in grooming, planning, demos, and retrospectivesCollaborate with Product, QA, and Analytics to ensure feature alignment and data integrity
