Key Responsibilities

• Translate military technical manuals, schematics, training guides, reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other documents
  

• Maintain an updated style guide and glossary of military-specific terminology
  

• Provide consecutive interpretation for small group discussions, one-on-one meetings, briefings, classroom sessions, and field training (e.g., shooting ranges, exercise areas)
  

• Deliver simultaneous interpretation during lectures, conferences, and large-scale training events
  

• Ensure translations reflect the nuances of English texts while being adapted effectively for a Ukrainian-speaking audience
  

Requirements

• Citizen of a NATO member state (mandatory)
  

• Native Ukrainian speaker OR certified Ukrainian language proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher)
  

• Excellent command of English (TOEIC 850+ or equivalent)
  

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a translator/interpreter in a similar environment
  

• Proven experience in technical/military translation and interpretation
  

• Strong understanding of military terminology and procedures
  

• Minimum NATO SECRET clearance (mandatory)
  

• Ability to work effectively in classroom, office, and field conditions
  

Desirable Skills

• Prior experience in NATO or defense-related projects
  

• Strong organizational and communication skills
  

• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments
