The client is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to accelerate product development and get more done for the overall roadmap for their flagship workforce management offering HotSchedules Labor. Currently, the team is international with Engineers and QA Engineers from Ukraine, Latin America, and the US. This will be a perfect opportunity to master your English language skills, as many meetings are conducted in English. Most developers in the team are full-stack developers, although the backlog is heavier on backend tasks, hence some experience in front-end development (ReactJS) will be needed.
Tech stack - Java 11/17, Spring: Databases: MS SQL, DynamoDB, clouds - Azure and AWS.
Requirements
5 years of experience with Java, familiarity with Java 17 or newer versions is a plus Hands-on experience with the Spring framework Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Practical experience working with ReactJS - 2 years Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a bonus Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform is considered an advantage Familiarity and readiness to work with a range of AI tools are expected English language skills at an upper-intermediate level or higher Ukrainian - Advanced or higherResponsibilities
