Ciklum is looking for a Lead React Native Software Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a React Native Lead, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The client is developing Tournament System, a revolutionary gamified trading platform that merges the thrill of fantasy sports with the real-time dynamics of global financial markets. The platform enables players to compete in mobile-first trading tournaments using virtual portfolios, integrating live market data, strategic gameplay mechanics, and social features to deliver an engaging, educational, and competitive experience

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and review of the high-quality application Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver business value Ensure technical excellence, performance, and security in all solutions Mentor and guide mid-level and junior developers Participate in technical interviews and contribute to talent selection Identify process improvements and drive their implementation

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including strong expertise in React Native Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks Solid background in understanding of computer science fundamentals, OOP, and design patterns Experience with software architecture and application scalability Good sense of UI/UX principles Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate+)

Desirable

Experience with MobX State Tree and React Native Animations Familiarity with Storybook, Jest, and WebSockets
