This position requires a seasoned professional in the field of accounting, who has experience in bookkeeping and month-end closing procedures.As an accountant, you will be responsible for the accuracy of financial records, supporting timely month-end account closures, and ensuring compliance with internal and client accounting standards. You will work closely with both local colleagues and the client's team from Estonia, so clear communication and a high level of professionalism are essential.Your main responsibilities will include:Maintaining accounting records and timely recording of business transactions in registersControlling and executing the month-end closing processPreparing and reviewing financial reports and account reconciliationsCollaborating with the financial team of the Estonian client to ensure compliance with local regulationsIdentifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyKey requirements:Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a focus on bookkeeping and month-end closingLanguage skills: English proficiency at B2 level or higher; must be able to communicate clearly with international clientsTechnical skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis toolsEducation: Degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage deadlines and priorities while working with international colleaguesProactivity, reliability, and adaptability to work in a multicultural teamReady for the challenge?
