The Shelter/WASH Project Coordinator leads the implementation of infrastructural (water supply, wastewater, energy, educational & health institutions, and shelter construction/rehabilitation projects in urban and rural settings in the geographical and programmatic area of NRC’s Area Office East. She/he is responsible for overseeing the planning, design and supervision of the Shelter&WASH activities implemented by NRC directly or by a partner of NRC in those contexts.
The purpose of the Shelter/WASH Project Coordinator position is to ensure that project activities pertaining to repair and rehabilitation/refurbishment of private shelters, public buildings, maintenance of water systems and energy efficient solutions are planned, implemented, monitored and reported according to NRC standards and procedures and national regulations.
