Superpowers
you have are
High-poly sculpt in Zbrush;
SubD modeling in Max / Maya;
Character topology for animation;
Cloth simulation in Marvelous Designer;
Strong knowledge of anatomy;
Ability to create UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
Texturing in Substance Painter and/or hand-painted texturing;
Good understanding of modern pipelines and requirements for stylized character creation;
Ability to follow and correctly interpret/improve the concept idea;
Relevant portfolio with examples of works in the corresponding direction;
Teamwork skills;
Intermediate+ level of English proficiency, both written and spoken, for smooth communication and documentation.
You’re a rockstar
if you have
Experience working in game engines (Unreal Engine 4/5, Unity, etc);
Drawing skills;
Good understanding of the rigging and animation process.
As a part of Room 8
studio, you will
Create high-poly and low-poly models of stylized characters for games according to given concepts and stylistics;
Create optimal UV mappings and bake the required textures (normal, AO, etc.);
Work with stylized texturing.
