Each KPMG member firm is responsible for its own obligations and liabilities.We are looking for Compliance Lawyer, join our team at KPMG in Ukraine.Responsibilities:Prepare legal comments, opinions, reports, draft different documents in Ukrainian and EnglishEngage in legal due diligence, prepare legal due diligence reports Perform gap analysis, engage in development of Ukrainian legislation to implement EU acquisPrepare analysis and legal research on different legal issues, including regarding compliance, data protection, cyber and information security (from the legal standpoint), AI and other related mattersUnder senior colleague’s supervision draft proposals and responses to clients' requestsHelp senior colleagues with internal risk management procedures for client engagementsPrepare articles, comments and publications with a help of senior colleaguesRequirements:University degree in Law (completed studies) or student of the last years1-2 years of professional experience at national or international law firms (is preferrable, but not a must)Expertise in anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, data protection, cyber security projects is desirable but not mandatoryExcellent theoretical knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Commercial lawDesire to develop and grow professionally in compliance, data protection and related spheresFluent Ukrainian, Upper Intermediate EnglishProper knowledge of Word and PowerPointStrong analytical and organizational skills, team player, communication skillsAttentive to details, ability to focus on assigned task and readiness to work hardDrafting conclusions clearly and conciselyWould be a plus if you:Work in a leading law firm and/or a Big 4 firmUnderstand basic principles of EU laws and regulations and have experience working with EU acquis and law makingHave knowledge of anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, data protection, IP and/or cyber lawReside in Kyiv or Kyiv regionBenefits:Dynamic international environment, with a great team of dedicated professionals and innovation leaders within one of the most world-known names in LegalOpportunity to participate in large projects with Ukrainian authorities and international organizationsChallenging assignments and transparent path of career and professional growthFair compensation and social packageAnnual bonus for achievement of approved KPIMedical insurance upon completion of probationary periodInternational assignment opportunities.KPMG in Ukraine seeks to create a work environment that provides everyone with opportunities to develop and build their careers.
